Freeze-dried fruit powder, dried cold
Freeze-drying removes water by freezing and vacuum, preserving the fruit's own characteristics: its colour, aroma and flavour. The result is a dry, light product, stable for up to 24 months without a cold chain, that keeps most of its organoleptic properties. Yield: 1 kg of product per 10 kg of fruit.

Choose your fruit
Tropical fruits and superfoods from the Amazon and the Peruvian Andes, such as camu camu, açaí, maca, goldenberry and lúcuma, also sought after by the nutraceutical industry.

The drying method that best respects the fruit
The fruit is frozen and the water is removed by sublimation, passing straight from ice to vapour, with no liquid phase and no direct heat. This preserves much of the original fruit's character: colour, aroma, flavour and texture.
The result is a light, stable freeze-dried fruit that can be used directly in many applications: eating as is, drinks, dairy, bakery, cereals, blends and other products.

How freeze-drying works
Selection
The fruit is selected and the pulp or extract is prepared.

Milling and packing
A fine powder is obtained and packed with a barrier against light and moisture.
Before you order
How is it different from spray-dried fruit?+
Freeze-dried fruit is dried cold, by freezing and vacuum, and is sold as a fine powder (and, on request, as flakes or pieces); spray-dried fruit turns the pulp into a fine powder by drying it with hot air, designed for dosing and adding to formulations. Freeze-dried fruit better preserves aroma and nutrients: it is the premium format.
Who handles the import?+
We do. We have more than 30 years in international trade: we take care of transport from origin, customs, documentation and health checks on entry into the European Union. For a full container, the product goes straight from origin to your plant; by pallet, it ships from Spain.
How long does the first delivery take?+
24–48 hours if there is stock in Spain, 2–10 days if there is stock in the EU, and around 8 weeks if shipped from origin. After that, deliveries are scheduled around your production calendar.
Is it also sold in pieces or whole?+
It is sold as a fine powder. We also prepare it as flakes or pieces, on request.
Does it contain additives?+
Only maltodextrin, which acts as an encapsulating agent and protects colour, flavour and aroma.
Is it suitable for coeliacs?+
Yes. It is naturally gluten-free.
What is the minimum order?+
From 5 kg per product.
Can I try it before buying?+
Yes. We will send you a sample and its technical data sheet within 10–15 working days, depending on available stock, so you can validate it in your formulation.
Would you like to try freeze-dried fruit in your formulation?
We will send you a sample, the technical data sheet and our terms.
